Read chapter 1: Il gatto
Lunedì mattina. Sono le otto. Giulia apre la porta della Pensione Aurora per prendere il giornale.
Davanti alla porta c'è un gatto. Un gatto grigio, grande, con gli occhi gialli.
È il gatto di ieri sera, sulla finestra della camera 2!
Il gatto guarda Giulia. Poi entra. Così, tranquillo, come a casa sua.
— Ehi! — dice Giulia. — Dove vai?
Il gatto non risponde. È un gatto. Sale le scale, con la coda alta.
Al primo piano si ferma davanti a una porta. La camera 5. E si siede.
