Read chapter 1: Il fiore bianco
Giulia raccoglie il fiore bianco dal pavimento. È una piccola rosa, perfetta, con un nastro di seta. Il fiore per l'occhiello della giacca. Il fiore di uno sposo.
Lo mette in un bicchiere d'acqua, sul banco.
Poi apre il registro. Legge l'ultima riga.
« Marco Ricci. Roma. Camera 4. Una notte. »
— Roma, — dice Giulia. — Vive a Roma. Domani si sposa a Roma. E stanotte dorme in una pensione di Trastevere. Da solo. Senza valigia.
— Con il telefono spento, — dice Tommi.
— Con il telefono spento.
Tommi guarda le scale. Al primo piano, la porta della camera 4 è chiusa. Non c'è luce sotto la porta.
— Un'altra storia, — dice. — Questa pensione è una calamita per le storie.
